Leakage Tester

It is an instrument that measures tightness by pressure drop method.

The leak tester is plugged into a 220V ground socket.
It is brought to the minimum pressure by turning in the (-) arrow direction on the inlet and outlet air regulators.
Air inlet should be fed with M10 air hose as max: 6 bar.
The inlet pressure should be adjusted from the inlet air regulator to be 2.5 bar by looking at the inlet pressure gauge.
The test should be started 5 minutes after the system is energized for the first time.
The device to be tested must be connected to the outlet air hose.
In this case, the outlet pressure should be adjusted to 1500 mm H2O from the outlet air regulator by keeping the fill button pressed.
In this case, when the inlet pressure is read as 1.5 bar and the outlet pressure is 1500 mm H2O, the fill button should be released and the outlet pressure should be locked as 1500 mm H2O.
When the fill button is released, the residual gas flow is cut off and the outlet manometer now measures the remaining gas pressure in the device under the test.It is enough to press the filling button for 1 second.
The pm102 indicator device, which measures the outlet pressure, is set to SP-1 value for 1495 mm H2O yellow lamp and SP-2 value for 1490 mm H2O red colored lamp. (These values can be changed by looking at the pm102 manual)
If there is a pressure loss in the tested device, the pressure value will start to decrease and when it reaches 1490 mm H2O value, the yellow light will turn on and give a pressure loss warning.
If the tested device is leaking gas, it will be detected with a yellow warning when the pressure value of 1500 mm H2O drops to 1495 mm H2O, and then with a red warning when it drops to 1490 mm H2O.
If there is a decrease in the inlet pressure during the tests, the pressure should be adjusted to 1.5 bar with the inlet pressure regulator.
If 1500 mm H2O is not seen when the fill button is pressed during the tests, the pressure should be brought to 1500 mm H2O with the help of the outlet pressure regulator.
