According to the “Continuous Wastewater Monitoring Communiqué” (SAİS) of the Ministry of Environment and Urbanization published in the Official Newspaper dated 22 March 2015, wastewater treatment plants with an installed capacity of 10,000m3/day and above or without any treatment (cooling water, Deep sea discharge, heat transfer, etc.) directly over a line, the facilities are obliged to measure their waste water in a cabin that they will install at their exit points, where analyzes and measurements will be made, and devices and equipment will be located. Facilities within the scope of SAIS communiqué are obliged to measure the Flow Rate, Temperature, pH, Dissolved Oxygen, Conductivity, Chemical Oxygen Demand, Suspended Solids parameters continuously and in real time and transfer them to the central database of the Ministry. The facilities in question are obliged to adapt their systems within 4 months at the latest from the date of publication of the SAIS Communiqué.
